The airy Paradiso Suite is found in the luxurious Palazzo Antellesi in the heart of Florence. Donato D'Onofrio has divided the space into living room (with kitchen), and the bedroom. A glass wall insulates the living room from the lively Santa Croce Square and offers a pleasant space where you can sip a glass of wine in an inviting vintage armchair.

The vast living room, painted in a light and luminous colour, is full of references to Florence's cultural and architectural history.

The vintage dining table, for instance, is made of white carrara marble, the same marble that decorates many façades and pavements.

Over the couch hangs an imposing painting of the famous statue of Laoocon and his sons, which served as a source of inspiration for Renaissance artists since its discovery in 1506. The painting is flanked by two lamps (designed by Donato D'Onofrio) inspired by the pavement of the San Lorenzo library.

The wall that separates the living room from the bedroom creates a small space that contains a kitchenette and a wardrobe. Its austere lines follow the Florentine architectural tradition: the tall doors and rose-window transform the wall into a façade.

Tradition and modernity combine in the details of the extremely functional kitchenette; the lamp hanging above the table (Beluga Royal D57 by Marc Sandler for Fabbian) evokes the possibility of space travel or Escher's circular perspective.
