Masel Milan | SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*

Buzzi & Buzzi, internationally famous and leading brand in the lighting sector, lights up the new Masel boutique, an Italian brand of neckties and sartorial customized accessories, all rigorously Made in Italy. The first flagship store of the brand, founded in 2015 thanks to the creativity and professionalism of the young Luca Maselli, is a project of SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, the creative lab that resulted from the evolution of the ASZarchitetti architectural firm. The Buzzi & Buzzi lighting is the perfect element that finishes and emphazises the original and sophisticated interior design of the welcoming environment.

In the very center of Milan and a few steps away from the fashion quadrangle, you’ll find the Masel boutique, characterized by a deep blue 1920s-styled façade and a completely petrol green interior. With its soft coloured rope structures that decorate ceiling and walls, this unique location hosts two luminaires created by Buzzi & Buzzi, the Italian company based in Lombardy: top quality lighting sources, with the best specific techniques that are able to increase an already high visual impact that distinguishes the environment. For the lighting of the exhibition area of the Masel’s articles, two L-shaped rails with the Q2 product were chosen: a rectangle of pure light chosen to emphasise the vivid and vibrant colours that characterize the store. Q2, a product from the Iron Line, is an adjustable luminaire, installable on ceiling, on a rail or on the wall, and available in white and black finishes. The professional dust painted projector in aluminium is ideal to be placed in indoor environments. It has a disappearing and completely adjustable arm which can be hidden within the body. The product is available in different, interchangeable lens, which can be easily replaced without any specific items, combining the maximum functionality and aesthetics. A perfect design where the driver remains hidden in the body of the spotlight, and no power supply system is visible.

Pipedino Open is another product by Buzzi & Buzzi used in this project: a wall lamp placed in the unusual bathroom of the boutique, a corridor-like, completely petrol green coloured area with a touch of white given by the bathroom fittings. The two Pipedino Open, indoor and bi-emission wall lamps made of AirCoral®, generate a concrete light and a diffused, symmetrical and regular light distribution. The essence of the room and its furnitures are fully enhanced thanks to a light which gives visual quality.

Thanks to the project of the eclectic Masel boutique, Buzzi & Buzzi demonstrates, once again, the strong lighting impact that its products and its excellent technical features can create.
