Bob Evans Farms Corporate Campus | M+A Architects
New Albany / United States / 2013
From the beginning three core concepts were the keys to the design of the new corporate campus for Bob Evans Farms: their history, their branding and healthy living. These principals can be seen throughout the campus from the overall design of the buildings in a “modern barn” style to the Heritage Hall inside; from the graphics on the walls of the café to the many sustainable features incorporated.
The project includes a test and training kitchen at the heart of the building, a museum dedicated to Bob Evans (Heritage Hall), and on-site training facilities used to help teach local groups about food and food preparation. The large training room is designed to fit 500 seats. Additionally, on-site gardens, a fruit orchard, and outdoor walking paths are part of the 40 acre campus.
The main office building was recently certified LEED Gold and the two additional buildings are LEED Silver.
