35BV is a refurbishment of an historic flat in the city centre of Rome. Our design focused on preserving the authentic fabric of the structure while refreshing the ambience with a contemporary and colourful touch.

The project is for a young couple, and it was designed to reflect their needs. Through the demolition of internal walls we gain more natural light and the impression of a more modern plan. The kitchen, fulcrum of life of the client, features the original terracotta floor which has been retained.

The original ceiling is preserved, wooden floors unite the living spaces – and Carrara marble has been selected for the bathrooms.  The furniture and decorations are a mix of contemporary pieces – Tulip Table – with some antique Chinese items. Colours are bright and textiles are rich and vibrant.
