Tequila Mockingbird | TILT Industrial Design

Australian industrial design firm, TILT, has delivered an operable roof for a new Sydney restaurant, enabling the venue to transform its fully enclosed dining space into an open-air courtyard, with just the touch of a button.

Thanks to the retractable roof, which TILT designed, manufactured and managed the installation of, the newly opened Tequila Mockingbird Restaurant in Paddington is able to operate at maximum capacity and offer a variety of flexible dining options.

The one touch control system enables the roof to be stopped at any position and includes battery backup to ensure it can be closed in the event of a power outage.

Aesthetics were a major consideration in this custom roof design.
