Great Exploration Kid's Bedroom | Studio SHK

Taking cues from the wilderness deep within the desert, the safari-inspired kid’s room was designed with the young explorer in mind— a space intended for climbing, hanging, pure adventure. The walls, wrapped in Calico ombre wallpaper, create the landscape, a song to the African sky at dawn and provide the backdrop to a mural of silhouetted safari animals. The tree fort bunk bed creates lofted space. A circular Kyle Bunting rug, reminiscent of a giraffe, roots the room while a light-projecting 3D elephant mask casts whimsical illuminated patterns. The sand dune / termite mound-inspired play space is a haven for kids to crawl inside and hanging carved gym rings, add a playful dimension.
