The house is on a promontory, with a view to the north on the sea, the coast reappearing in the background.

To the east and west is still the sea bathing the winding coast.

Reproducing the promontory shape, which advances towards the sea, so we also locate the living area, of conviviality, both external and internal areas.

Different experiences of sights and ambiance are offered.

An outer, open space is convertible in an “courtyard” area that is protected of strong winds eventually coming from the sea.

The two-story volume, where there are four suites, already existed and has been renovated.

A low land occupancy rate and the use of clay tiles are requirements of local legislation.

Lighting – José Luiz Galvão
Structure – Technical Office Costa Santos
Construction – José Bernardo de Souza Cruz
Interior (except kitchen) – Pedro Paranaguá
Photographs – Celso Brando
