ZENIA LOUNGE.

Studiogaraje arquitectura se ha encargado de redactar el proyecto de interiorismo para restaurante gastrobar Zenia Lounge. La actuación se realiza en La Zenia – Orihuela Costa en la Costa Blanca al sureste de España. Situamos el local apenas a 1km del mar en un lugar muy marcado por la presencia de turismo, procedente de toda Europa. Disponemos de superficie interior de 125m2 y de uso y disfrute de  amplias y soleadas terrazas.

El espacio de actuación se encuentra en un local dentro de un centro comercial y de negocios. Centro Comercial Zenia Costa.

El negocio va dirigido sobre todo al público de norte de Europa y emprendedores de la zona. Han apostado por la temática “Lounge” creando un agradable ambiente nocturno, permitiendo disfrutar de un cóctel y cena elaborada.

La idea de proyecto reside en resolver un programa de necesidades muy concreto de manera compacta y así aprovechar el espacio al máximo. La geometría del local en una sola planta con doble altura y cubierta a dos aguas nos motiva a generar un único volumen “caja” que alberga toda la parte técnico-privada y la ubicamos en el interior del local. Para enfatizar el concepto de una caja dentro de un espacio, separamos sensiblemente la caja de las paredes y suelo, generando una sombra que le aporta discontinuidad y a la vez una sensación de levedad. El resto del local se destina a sala y terrazas diáfanas.

El concepto abierto del local junto con amplios ventanales elimina al máximo la relación interior-exterior, permitiendo una libre circulación y disfrute de las terrazas durante todo el año.

Podemos captar una clara inspiración escandinava en la cantidad de luz, los materiales y colores empleados.

La iluminación de ambiente nocturna cambia por completo las sensaciones producidas respecto al ambiente diurno. La baja intensidad y el toque dorado de la iluminación nos invitan a un estado mucho más sensual y relajado.

La silla de comedor, que se ha convertido en el auténtico icono de diseño escandinavo, proporciona el toque de color que combina con el resto del interior.

ZENIA LOUNGE.

Studiogaraje architects were responsible for drafting the interior design project for the gastrobar restaurant Zenia Lounge. The project was developed in La Zenia – Orihuela Costa on the Costa Blanca in south eastern Spain. The site is located just 1km from the sea in an area which has a marked presence of tourists from all over Europe. The interior surface area measures 125m2 and includes use of large sunny terraces.

The project site is located in premises within the shopping and business centre, Centro Commercial Zenia Costa.

The gastrobar’s primary targets are the public from the north of Europe and entrepreneurs from the local area. A “Lounge” theme was opted for which creates a cosy evening environment in which to enjoy a cocktail and evening meal.

The idea for the project arose from resolving a series of very specific needs in a compact way therefore maximising the available space. The geometrics of the premises, on one floor with double height and a gable roof led us to developing one unique volume or “box” which contains all the technical-private part and which we located in the interior of the premises. In order to emphasise the concept of a box within a space, we separated the box noticeably from the walls and floor creating a shadow which provides discontinuity while at the same time projecting the feeling that it is floating. The rest of the premises are devoted to the dining room and open terraces.

The open concept of the space together with the large windows erases to maximum effect the separation of interior-exterior and allows for free circulation and enjoyment of the terraces throughout the year.

There is a clear sense of the Scandinavian inspiration in the amount of light, as well as in the materials and colours used in the design.

The lighting in a night-time setting completely contrasts the sensations created by the daytime atmosphere. The low intensity and gold touches in the lighting invite us to a far more sensual and relaxed environment.

Dining chairs which have become an authentic icon of Scandinavian design offer a touch of colour while combining with the rest of the interior.
