Located in the city center of sion, the apartment is in a building dating from1965.

This 5 rooms appartment had not undergone transformation since its construction. It wasmthus necessary to rethink it to insure the best balance between contemporary needs and existing installation, between envy and cost.

The separations of one of the 4 bedrooms have been removed to obtain a space crossing, in staggered rows, giving a through sight; the living room and the dining area have now each clearly their space, and the dining area is right next to the kitchen.

A wooden box came to redefine the entrance area, the dining area and the enlarged kitchen. this cube also allows to hide a new bathroom including a toilet, a shower and a washing column inside. Cupboards integrated on all sides of the box to optimize the storage and consequently release the housing of other furniture.

Walls have been smoothed, the floor was covered with a screed sanded and waxed to contrast with the wood and give a more contemporary atmosphere.
