The "objèterie" of Lannion, (Britain, France) is an innovative equipment located on a vast site in rural area, two complementary work parks in the domains of waste management and renewable energies.

Both main buildings, of spectacular size, were thought as contemporary sheds inserted in the existing wooded weft.
The main building (waste reception center, recycle area, educational space) is formed by a long transparent hall inserted in the topography. Its detached roof draws an inclined line in the landscape, held by the V formed poles. The treelike mixed structure appears through the polycarbonate facades. This structure is extended by wooden opaque walls with openwork cladding.

The second building (wood-dryer and photovoltaic power plant) is a vast wooden barn with a creased profil. The whole project was designed as to value these environmental and landscaped stakes. The wood naturally sustainable French essences like douglas and oak, stands out as the main material of the constructions, and is declined in all the works (structure, facings, joineries, insulation …)

The expressiveness of the structure of a skeleton, optimized and drawn precisely, garanties the architectural identity of the project.
The global energy approach takes in account the management of the renewable energies (wood energy, solar energy) to cover the needs of the site.
Thermal solar panels are also installed. Rainwater is collected for the washing and the maintenance.
