ENG - Achievement of the expanded metal facade of the new school group called “Chemin Vert” in the city of Aubervilliers.

Built on a 5 hectares wasteland intended to accommodate a prospective joint development zone, the Port Chemin Vert school group is the first facility of the project.

Of a circular arc shape, the lot delimiting the school group is located on a storm water pond. The buildings done fit the outline of the parcel, taking the shape of a crescent moon, surrounded the basin.

Turned towards the city, the whole building façade is made up of gold color  expanded metal. It acts as a view breaker, ensures students privacy, gives protection, serenity and thermal comfort to the South and West façade, thanks to its sun breaker performances. The main façade is cut to draw a curve, it is an aperture which brings softness and reminds the round shape of the storm water pond.

For the school group Port Chemin Vert, the expended metal is more than an aesthetic cladding. It is an envelope which improving the well-being of the users.

FRA - Réalisation de la façade en métal déployé du nouveau groupe scolaire Chemin Vert à Aubervilliers.

Construit sur une friche de 5 hectares destinée à accueillir une future ZAC, le groupe scolaire Port Chemin Vert  en est le premier équipement  à voir le jour.

Formant un arc de cercle, la parcelle délimitant le groupe scolaire est située sur un bassin d’orage. Les bâtiments réalisés épousent le contour de cette parcelle en prenant une forme en croissant de lune entourant le bassin.

Orientée vers la ville, la façade de l’ensemble de l’édifice est composée de métal déployé de couleur dorée. Il joue le rôle de brise vue, préserve l’intimité des étudiants, apporte protection, sérénité et   confort thermique à cette façade  exposée au Sud- Ouest grâce  à ses performances brise-soleil. La façade principale est découpée pour redessiner une courbe, elle  est une ouverture qui apporte douceur et rappel la forme arrondie du bassin d’orage.

Pour le Groupe Scolaire Chemin vert, le métal déployé est plus qu’un habillage esthétique, c’est une enveloppe qui améliore le bien-être de ses utilisateurs.
