The new Iris Ceramica stand designed by Area-17 for Cersaie 2017 counts on the intense expressivity of products, which reveal themselves with no artifice.

A high-impact shell encloses a rational environment: a double exhibition itinerary runs around a luscious tropical garden creating a striking contrast among shapes and colors.

Outside, the regular rhythm of Marquina effect polished ceramic panels is broken by pleated inserts and dramatic cuts that open emphatically onto the interiors. The monumental entrance faces the reception area furnished with a monolithic counter made of contrasting Carrara and Marquina marble effect ceramic panels. This is the only and yet strongly characterizing presence in the display area except for products.

One side of the entrance gate overlooks the meeting room, fully furnished with pieces from the Diesel Living collection and decorated with Diesel ceramic tiles produced in collaboration with Iris group. On the other side, a video installation anticipates views of the brand’s new showroom, which opens in conjunction with the Bolognese show.

The anticipatory narration resumes inside the stand, where more video installations alternate to products from varied brand’s collections, displayed as if in an art gallery. The exhibition ends inside a luscious, green oasis furnished with sophisticated outdoor pieces, a welcoming arrival point for informal meeting and relaxation.
