Renovation of the New DolomiteTiles Showroom - Cermes / Tscherms, Bolzano

The alpine landscape, the fruit trees and the production plants are the background of the renovation project of the building which houses Dolomite Tiles' new showroom in Cermes, near Merano.

A larch wooden-board volume has been added so as to redesign the façade with a contemporary language which communicates with the existing building that remained behind.

The three existing openings of the façade, which look on the street, were enlarged to design the new windows, through which the indoor exhibition space can be seen from the outside.

The showroom is arranged freely around the new furnishings which enclose the existing pillars and the restrooms, while the area including the office and the meeting room is separated from the exhibition, though being in direct connection with the rest of the space.

All the fixed elements of the furniture – dividing walls, storage furniture, exhibition shelves and tables – were manufactured with a single material, the multilayer birch plywood.

Ristrutturazione nuovo showroom Dolomitetiles - Cermes / Tscherms, Bolzano

Il paesaggio alpino, gli alberi da frutto e la zona produttiva dei capannoni, sono lo sfondo per il progetto di ristrutturazione dell’edificio che ospita il nuovo showroom della azienda Dolomite-tiles a Cermes presso Merano.
L’addizione di un volume in tavole di legno di larice ha permesso di ridisegnare la facciata utilizzando un linguaggio contemporaneo che dialoga con l’edificio esistente rimasto in secondo piano.
I tre fori esistenti della facciata su strada sono stati allargati per disegnare le nuove vetrine attraverso le quali lo spazio interno espositivo si mostra verso l’esterno.
L’organizzazione interna della sala si distribuisce liberamente intorno ai nuovi elementi di arredo che avvolgono i pilastri esistenti e il corpo di servizio dei bagni, mentre la zona degli uffici e della sala riunioni rimane separata dalla mostra, ma in diretto collegamento con il resto dello spazio.
Per tutti gli elementi fissi dell'arredo, le pareti divisorie, i mobili contenitori, le mensole espositive e i tavoli si è impiegato un unico materiale, il compensato multistrato in legno di betulla.
