Dating from the mid-20s, it shows the traditional typology at the time: oversized day and representation spaces and two resting rooms, one on each side. At the back of the plot, the patio with the kitchen and toilet facing each other.
All the project effort was focused on the recovery and enhancement of the original textures and materials.
The ceramic surfaces are the protagonists. The hydraulic floors, cross-stitch type, form a spectacular tapestry in the hall and lounge. In the rooms, geometric designs and arabesque airs.

With a free height that borders the 4 meters, the spaces are expanded and it is decided to also whitewash the vertical ones, originally colored, to favor natural lighting and highlight the coloured ceramic wainscots arranged in all spaces.

To the works of intense restoration of ceramic surfaces, carpentry of mobila wood and façade of brick, were added renovations of sanitation, patio and a new kitchen in the same location.
The bathroom is relocated in an old room servant under the staircase of access to the first floor (another independent housing), integrating it inside the house as opposed to its original location in the outdoor patio.
The patio, oriented to the west, is renewed, valuing its capacity to light the house and assuming the background of the main views. The same design of original ceramic wainscot was used, with white 20x20 pieces and base line in mustard. A soil for plants is used for the placement of a lemon tree and a small garden, and for solar control, an extendable textile sunblind was placed in accordion under guides that allows to add this outside room to the program of the house in most of the year.
The fully renovated kitchen maintains the essence of the restoration project. White verticals with bounded fronts of ceramic pieces with marked Mediterranean air in blues.

The elements of furniture, largely restored or recovered are arranged in an adjusted amount to allow reading the floors in all their continuity and decorative elements, all ceramic, support the idea of ??enjoying this material.

A house ready to shine another 90 years.

La vivienda se ubica en plena trama característica del distrito Marítimo de la ciudad, en el barrio del Cabanyal.

Datada en mediados de los años 20, alberga una tipología tradicional en la época: Espacios de día y representación sobredimensionados y dos estancias de descanso, una a cada lado. Al fondo de la parcela, el patio con la cocina y aseo enfrentados en los laterales.

Todo el esfuerzo de proyecto se centró en la recuperación y puesta en valor de las texturas y materiales originales.

Las superficies cerámicas son las protagonistas. Los suelos hidráulicos, de tipo punto de cruz forman en el vestíbulo y el salón un tapiz espectacular. En las estancias, diseños geométricos y aires arabescos.

Con una altura libre que roza los 4 metros, los espacios se expanden y se opta por blanquear también las verticales, coloreadas originalmente, para favorecer la iluminación natural y destacar los arrimaderos dispuestos en todos los espacios.

A los trabajos de intensa restauración de superficies cerámicas, carpinterías de mobila y fachada de ladrillo visto, se añadieron las renovaciones de saneamiento, patio y una nueva cocina en el mismo emplazamiento.

El aseo se reubica en una antigua estancia sirviente bajo la escalera de acceso a la vivienda de planta primera, integrándolo dentro la vivienda a diferencia de su emplazamiento original en el patio exterior.

El patio, orientado a oeste se renueva, poniendo en valor su capacidad de regar de luz la vivienda y suponiendo el fondo de las vistas principales. Se utilizó el mismo diseño de arrimadero cerámico original, con piezas 20x20 blancas y zócalo en mostaza. Un alcorque permite la colocación de un limonero y una pequeña huerta y para el control solar, se colocó un toldo extensible en acordeón bajo guías que permite agregar esta estancia exterior al programa de la vivienda en la mayor parte del año.

La cocina totalmente renovada mantiene la esencia del proyecto de restauración. Verticales blancas con frentes acotados de piezas cerámicas con marcado aire mediterráneo en azules.

Los elementos de mobiliario, se disponen en una cuantía ajustada para permitir leer los suelos en toda su continuidad y los decorativos, todos ellos cerámicos apoyan la idea de disfrutar de este material.

Una vivienda dispuesta a brillar otros 90 años..
