(EN)The residential house is situated in a hillside location at the edge of the historical village center and is in line with the local building traditions. The project captivates through its clarity in shape and space creating a synthesis with a consistently determined uniform choice of material. The use of high-quality regional materials gives the building a huge added value: a combination of plaster surfaces with porphyry and dolomite aggregate and larch wood is creating a connection to the surrounding building typologies. Neatly placed apertures allow focused views and constitute a reference to the surrounding rural and mountainous landscape. The doorway element emphasizes the location “along the path” and substantiates the outside area. Visual and communicational references in the interior make it possible to experience the building in its entire length, width and height. The reduction to the bare essentials gets reflected in all the materials used here once again: smooth plaster surfaces out of clay and lime with sand aggregate in dolomite and porphyry, polished concrete floor with dolomite aggregate, wooden elements made of local larch wood.

Das Wohnhaus befindet sich in Hanglage am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns und schließt sich der örtlichen Bautradition an. Das Projekt besticht durch seine Klarheit in Form und Raum, in Synthese mit einer konsequent bestimmten, einheitlichen Materialwahl. Die Verwendung von hochwertigen regionalen Materialien verleiht dem Gebäude einen immensen Mehrwert: die Putzoberflächen mit Dolomit- und Porphyrzuschlägen, in Kombination mit Lärchenholz nehmen Bezug zur umliegenden Bautypologie. Akkurat platzierte Öffnungen ermöglichen gezielte Ausblicke und stellen den Bezug zur umgebenden Dorf- und Berglandschaft dar. Das Eingangselement unterstreicht die Lage „am Weg“ und konkretisiert erfassbar den Aussenraum.
Sicht- und Kommunikationsbezüge im Innenraum ermöglichen es das Gebäude in seiner gesamten Länge, Breite und Höhe vollständig zu erfassen. Die Reduktion auf das Wesentliche spiegelt sich auch hier in der gesamten Materialität wieder: geglättete Putzoberflächen aus Lehm und Kalk mit Sandzuschlägen aus Dolomit und Porphyr, geschliffene Betonestriche mit Dolomitzuschlägen, Holzelemente aus lokalem Lärchenholz.

La casa si trova ai margini del nucleo storico del paese e interpreta la tradizione del costruire locale in modo nuovo. Il progetto è caratterizzato dalla sua chiarezza nella forma e nello spazio, in sintesi con una selezione di materiali uniforme. L'utilizzo di materiali regionali di alta qualità dà all'edificio un immenso valore sociale: le superfici intonacate con supplementi di ghiaietto dolomitico e porfido, in combinazione con il larice degli elementi in legno, si riferiscono alla tipologia degli edifici storici circostanti. Le aperture consentono prospettive desiderate verso il paese e il paesaggio montano. L'elemento di ingresso sottolinea la posizione della casa "sulla strada" e identifica concretamente lo spazio esterno.
I riferimenti visibili e comunicativi all'interno consentono di percepire l'edificio nella sua intera lunghezza, larghezza e altezza. La riduzione all'essenziale definisce anche l'interno dell'edificio: intonaci levigati in argilla e calce con supplementi in sabbia dolomitica e porfido, massetti in cemento levigati con supplementi in ghiaietto dolomitico e elementi in legno larice locale.
