PRIVATE VILLAS

Floor Area: Master villa 800 sq.m | Duplex 250 sq. m | Landscape: 2.000 sq. m

This project consists of two duplex and one large master villa, located in a context where the bond with nature plays the leading role. The design was conceived as a green carpet surrounding the architectural volumes, creating a spatial continuum between the interior and the exterior, for a delicate equilibrium with the charming scenery.
The portal of entrance to the master villa rises upwards as the only element of rupture in the flat skyline, which makes the architecture permeable to the setting.
The silhouette and the large windows merge with the green areas that face the river Lielupe. This dialogue lingers through the choice of materials: local wood and red granite stone are preferred, together with the travertine marble.
The terraces allow to look out towards the startling landscape, as an extension of the inner areas.
The integration is finally accomplished through the decoration, which recalls textures and colours of earth and water.
