Holiday house in the south of the Netherlands in the dunes by the Sea.
An older gloomy holliday house was demolished and replaced with this spacious house with a "low architectural profile". One central dividing wall allong the top of the roof defines the living quarters and the private spaces behind it. An economical wooden structure is used to create a maximum of space. A large window to the garden gives unobstructed views towards the dunes and the sea nearby. Borren Staalenhoef received a second commission to rebuilt a house nearby; to be realised in 2017-2018.
