New offices for the direction board of a health assistance company based in Mirasol, Barcelona. A closing system in glass is chosen for its discretion and to maximize the excellent views towards Collserola and the privileged light offered by the corner position of the offices. The plan layout is arranged around a translucent cube, containing the accountant’s office. This allows a secondary and private circulation to the entrance for the direction offices. A hidden system of rolling curtains solves on demand the possible privacy issues between rooms. The same grey fabric from the building’s solar protection screens is used for the interior curtains. The existing ceiling is kept and used to arrange and systemize the new plan, with very few adjustments. Grey wool carpets give easy access to the technical floor, liberating the perimeter for the arrangement of built-in plugs and connection devices in stainless steel.
