ENG - Leinster Square is a Grade II architectural gem in London in which numbers 7-12 have been completely renovated by Alchemi Group and their design arm, Studio L, London, to create the ultimate in sophisticated London living. Together with architects TateHindle, Alchemi/Studio L have sympathetically restored these quintessential Notting Hill terraces to refreshed glory, offering a collection of apartments and townhouses finished to the highest standards.

As part of the premium specifications for the new three-bedroom apartments and townhouses, the design team at Studio L, led by Creative Director and Founder, Laura Marino, chose a series of Devon&Devon pieces to ensure both the beauty and quality of the bathroom furnishings. From spacious en-suites to stylish shower rooms, these bathrooms are distinguished by the particular refinement of the Devon&Devon brand.

Bathroom 1: The freestanding Regal Colours tub in cast iron with a custom painted enamel finish graces an en-suite bathroom in number 12 Leinster Square.

To set the tone and remain in keeping with period-sensitive restoration of the architecture, the Devon&Devon designs that have been chosen include impressive freestanding tubs and statement vanity units and consoles, completed by the finest brassware and accessories.

The design concept is a “modern take on the Victorian era” inspired both by the original buildings and the lively neighbourhood itself, with its upscale bohemian vibe and charming boutiques. Laura Marino explains, “Before I began specifying the development, I had an instinct on how I wanted it to look and feel because I live in the area and am very attached to it. I felt there was no need to play it too safe or bland in the heart of such a creative and vibrant neighborhood, especially as the Victorians themselves were keen on the kind of character, flavour and colour we wanted to bring to this development.''

"I love stone and craftsmanship in materials - Laura adds - I wanted a look that was timelessly classic. Something that wouldn’t date because it’s overly trendy or only of the moment. Also, I like to be a bit more daring with bathrooms because they’re like little jewel boxes and should be allowed to have personality in their own right without being garish.
Accordingly, the luxurious en-suite master bathrooms feature signature Devon&Devon creations such as the Admiral bath and the Regent double vanity, or the Regal bath and Season vanity, while further bathrooms have typically original Devon&Devon pieces such as the Wide Blues console, or a touch of Art Deco style in the form of the Jetset vanity and best-selling Celine bath."

Bathroom 2: The classic form of the impressive Admiral tub and elegant lines of the Regent fitted vanity unit, together with chic accessories by Devon&Devon distinguish one of the ‘jewel-box’ master bathrooms in the stylish Leinster Square development in town home number 12.

Bathroom 3: The sinuous Wave bath and Savoy S Screen complement the Art Deco inspired Jetset vanity unit.

Shower room: the Serenade console with Fairy mirror and Twinkle wall lamps.

Bathroom 3: The inimitable Jetset vanity, partnered by a Vogue mirror and Chicago wall lamp, also pictured - Armonia 3 Towel warmer.

Numbers 7-12 consist of five townhouse arrangements over lower ground, ground and first floor levels. With floor to ceiling heights of 3.5 metres on the first floors, the homes have been completely restored to their original beauty, with the town houses featuring windows with French shutters and enjoying multiple private terraces. The six lateral apartments are situated on floors 24 and are accessed via a private concierge area which services all the homes.
