An ambitious, radical transformation of Canon Bridge House, with a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment. Stiff + Trevillion were commissioned to lead the design of the transformation, with the brief to provide a completely fresh workspace, while remaining true to the building’s heritage. Overview of the refurbishment:
· Upgraded the southern building elevation
· Redesigned the existing building entrances on Cousin Lane
· Improved the glass link at 1st floor between the Atrium and River Building
· Reduced the size of the River Building atrium roof
· The refurbishment of the River Building has create contextual improvements of the elevation alongside improvements to glazing allowing more natural light into internal areas.
The two-floor building now offers over 92,000 sq ft of prime office space across two efficient, expansive floorplates with panoramic views of the River Thames, with access to a stunning roof garden.
