The epitome of modern architecture in one of the most exotic destinations, Baan Sawarat villa is the stuff of dreams. The private villa is located in Ko Samui, Thailand’s second largest island and most popular destination. The sprawling villa it sits on a dramatic site overlooking the Gulf of Thailand and is set on 3500 sq.m of land with an additional 9700 sq.m of private frontage that is only accessible for this villa.

The property can be found on the east coast of the Kra Isthmus. It’s a perfectly isolated home and just far enough from popular tourist sites on the island. The ideal location offers a tranquil, authentic escape from the rest of the busy island.

The beaches of Lipa Noi and Ang Thong are a short distance away allowing the owners to explore the pristine white sand beaches found on the island and are easily accessible from the villa.

Baan Sawarat villa was designed by Hanuman Designs and finished in 2015. The overall exterior structure is one of the highlights of the property that is lush with geometric lines and volumetric objects that offer a very Zen like feel to the entire complex.
There are a total of 4 levels in this Zed shaped home, with a private entry for guests followed by a stone paved hallway, and then slowly directs up to a gorgeous hand made spiral staircase encased in glass. The beautiful entry helps to frame the vastness of the Gulf of Thailand, giving you a glimpse of a breathtaking view of the property.

Immediately upon arrival, guests feel a sense of calmness thanks to the linear shaped lines shaded in neutral colors mixed with a blend of natural polished concrete material that is merged seamlessly to give the peaceful yet respectful imagery.

The villa has floor to ceiling glass doors and landscaped windows, and entire villa shamelessly embraces the natural rainforest surroundings to give the look of nature outdoor as an extension of the inside.

The master wing is a villa inside a villa and definitely the most impressive part of the island home.

The master wing was specifically designed for complete privacy and separated from the rest of the villa while still being part of the same building (z shape). The master wing also features an infinity pool, a private kitchen, private dining, spacious dressing room, office with library, sweeping terrace, and immaculate bathroom featuring stone and marble with silver and wood accents.

The huge bathtub sits strategically in the front of the bathroom, and with the blinds open, creates a one of a kind bathing experience. The designer wanted occupants to enjoy a relaxing bath in the beautiful surroundings of the lush rainforest and sea.

The master suite and guest wing areas are connected with the villas lounge area.

There is a total of 2 guest suites, and features a modern fitness gym, 3 state-of-the-art kitchens, a private living area, and a technorati designed entertainment centre that spreads across 2 floors.
