[IT] L’albergo, con sede in un edificio storico privato degli inizi del XIX secolo, è ubicato nella centralissima via Tverskaya, nelle immediate vicinanze della Piazza Rossa e del Cremlino. L'edificio conserva due facciate dell’edifico storico con camere al pianterreno e al primo piano. Il nuovo atrio interno di nove piani a tutt’altezza rappresenta una sorta di contemporanea riproposizione di un Uovo di Fabergé che dal pianterreno sale fino al 9° piano terminando con un ristorante panoramico che domina la Piazza Rossa. Il Mandarin Oriental, che ospiterà 250 stanze, avrà al suo interno 6500 mq di spazi commerciali dedicati alle marche di lusso e un parcheggio interrato con 270 posti auto. L'hotel ospiterà, inoltre, due eleganti sale da ballo, un centro termale e un centro benessere, una piscina coperta, un centro fitness e un gran numero di ristoranti e bar. The new 250-room ‘upside-down’ hotel summons customers to check-in at sky lobby level affording visitors incredible views over Red Square and the Kremlin. HOK’s new design cleverly combines the old and the new and is located on a compact, central site on Tverskaya Road - Moscow’s answer to London’s Oxford Street. The hotel is housed in a redeveloped historic building, originally constructed in the early 19th Century as a private manor house. The building will retain two of the historic facades along with listed rooms on the ground and first floors. The exciting new interior features a contemporary approach on a Faberge Egg: the streamlined, spherical vessel cascades into the central atria like a waterfall. The Mandarin will incorporate 6,500m² of retail space dedicated to luxury brands with underground parking for 270 cars. The hotel will be home to two elegant ballrooms; health spa and wellness centre; an indoor swimming pool; fitness centre and a variety of restaurants and bars.
