The project starts from the ground: it grows from the surrounding environment and appears respectfully through fields. The context where Lamborghini has its own roots is a direct inspiration for the project that reflect the surrounding and blends with it. The landmarks are shining points that attract from faraway, when you come closer you can see their complexity and be impressed by them.

A shell comes out of the ground, out of a wheat field: a unique design piece with a fluent line that shows velocity and power, elegance and luxury. The shell is made of a woven mesh where the strenght and the solidity of the TRADITION are mixed with the research of the excellence through modernity and INNOVATION. The corten is the workers material and represents the tradition with his color and his ruggedness; the stainless steel designs the innovation and the elegance. Toghether they are mixed in a pattern inspired by the carbon fiber, an high tech material ideally linked to the Lamborghini racing vocation.

The landmark is divided in two pieces, one for each roundabout. The cut allows the visitor to see what is inside the design. The core that hold up the shell is diveded in two equal parts: two elements with different meanings working toghether to sustain the excellence. Passion and techinque are fused toghether in a laser cut steel sheet, with yellow enamel finishing. The first landmark shows the passion through a minimalistic reinterpretation of historic Lamborghini’s logo as connection between the present and the past. The second landmark represents the techinique throught giant gears as a symbol of the never –ending research of the technological progress.

Each landmark has two sides. The first approach shows you the shell rooted in the tradition and brings you to the Lamborghini’s factory, leaving in you a sense of curiosity. When you leave the site you get to see the second face, the inside part, the core.
