Due piccioni con una fava!

“TONY mobile office” nasce dalla necessità, per la ditta Secchi Carpenteria Tetti e Case in Legno, di trovare un luogo dove spostare temporaneamente la sede operativa durante i lavori di ristrutturazione dei propri uffici e dal loro desiderio di mostrare le proprie capacità nel mercato (sempre più in crescita) delle case in legno.
Da questi punti di partenza nasce la proposta, anche un po' provocatoria, del nostro studio: “progetteremo per voi un edificio in legno da adibire ad ufficio durante i lavori nella vostra sede principale e da poter successivamente mostrare e trasportare facilmente laddove se ne presentasse la necessità per renderlo utilizzabile sul lungo periodo, trasformandolo intrinsecamente in un veicolo pubblicitario!”
L'audacia della proposta ha colpito nel segno e abbiamo ottenuto l'approvazione da parte della ditta per predisporre un progetto che li convincesse.
La sfida successiva è stata quella di dimensionare l'edificio affinché potesse essere caricato e trasportato sul loro camion.
Otto metri e sessanta per due metri e cinquanta per un'altezza massima di due metri e sessanta. Questi i nostri limiti dimensionali.
Il primo ragionamento che ha mosso le nostre matite è stato di carattere “strategico”: non volevamo disegnare per loro un edificio dalla forma “tradizionale” perché il mercato delle case in legno è già sufficientemente affollato e riproporre ciò che già gli altri fanno non sarebbe stato un elemento di vantaggio per loro.
Il vantaggio, si sa, risiede nel mostrare qualcosa che non è ancora stato fatto da nessuno.
Questo spunto ha influenzato anche la scelta del nome: “TONY”.
Nello slang inglese questo aggettivo è attribuito ad un oggetto bello, accattivante, insolito ed eccezionale.
Il secondo ragionamento ha invece coinvolto la funzionalità dell'edificio. Grandi vetrate da orientare verso la luce o verso la vista migliore. Il resto dell'edificio avvolto da un manto metallico protettivo. Impianto elettrico, rete dati e illuminazione a led di ultima generazione. A completamento una grande scrivania per quattro postazioni pc ed una serie di ripiani posizionati sui lati lunghi della struttura. Non serviva altro.
Dopo un attimo di perplessità dovuta alla non convenzionalità della proposta abbiamo avuto la conferma per procedere con la realizzazione.
Ogni aspetto è stato attentamente analizzato e progettato con il supporto di esperti tecnici strutturisti e impiantisti.

Ecco le principali caratteristiche alla base della realizzazione di TONY mobile office:
Struttura a telaio in legno lamellare
Isolamento termico/acustico in lana di roccia e polistirene
Rivestimento di due pareti esterne in tavole di pino tinto grigio
Rivestimento di due pareti e della copertura in lamiera di alluminio graffata colore antracite
Rivestimento degli interni e arredo in pannelli di pino batipin naturale
Serramenti in legno di larice con vetri ad elevate prestazioni energetiche
Impianto elettrico, rete dati, illuminazione LED

Two birds with one stone!

"TONY mobile office" arises both from the needs of the italian company “Secchi Carpenteria Tetti e Case in Legno” for a temporary office during the renovation of the main headquarter and the desire to grow in the market of wooden houses.
Our provocative proposal comes from these starting points: "we will design a “temporary wooden office” for you, and then you'll be able to carry it easily wherever you want and for anyone who needs it! In that way, it will become a traveling advertisement for your company!”
The boldness of our proposal hit the mark and we got the approval from the company to set up the project.
The challenge was to draw a building that could be loaded and transported on their truck: 8,6 meters long, 2,5 meters wide and a maximum height of 2,6 meters. These were our dimensional limits.
The first planning thought was "strategic": we don't have to design a "traditional" building because the wooden houses market is already overcrowded and imitating others would not bring any benefit to the company.
The real benefit is doing something that nobody has ever done!
This way of thinking also influenced the choice of the name: "TONY".
In the english slang, the word “TONY” stands for something that is good, great, awesome, exceptional, cool.
The second planning thought involved the functionality of the building. Large windows to be directed towards the best view. A protective metallic coat. An efficient electrical system, a data network and LED lighting. Four workstations on an extra long desk and a shelf on the long side of the structure. We didn't need anything else!
The non-conventionality of our proposal let them a little bit disoriented, but we had the confirmation to proceed with the construction.
Every aspect has been carefully analyzed and designed with the support of structural engineers and plant technicians.
