Sperlonga - Urban lighting and furniture

ITA - Sperlonga sorge su uno sperone di roccia proteso nel Mar Tirreno. Grazie alla sua posizione, in età romana sorsero nel territorio numerose ville: la più celebre è quella appartenuta all’Imperatore Tiberio, comprendente una grotta naturale modificata e decorata con sculture del ciclo dell’eroe omerico Ulisse.

A Sperlonga in oltre 25 anni si sono succeduti molti progetti di illuminazione e arredo urbano in cui sono stati impiegati prodotti Neri quali lanterne, mensole, varie tipologie di pali, ma anche elementi di arredo come panchine, dissuasori, portabiciclette, cestini e chioschi.

SISTEMA ALCOR
Negli anni più recenti, con il sistema Alcor, Sperlonga ha illuminato la zona residenziale con i nuovi insediamenti e la grande Piazza Cardi.

PROGETTO FENICE
Negli ultimi anni si è proceduto gradualmente alla manutenzione degli impianti più vecchi con la sostituzione dei corpi illuminanti che sono stati equipaggiati non più con lampade a scarica ma con LED, ottenendo consistenti risparmi e un confort notturno altamente qualitativo.

FENICE - SISTEMA CASTORE
A Sperlonga sui pali del sistema Castore, sia piccoli ad una luce che grandi a due e a tre luci, sono state sostituite le vecchie lanterne Light 800, prive di ottica, con Light 803 o Light 804 dotate di LED Fortimo.

FENICE - SISTEMA SHELIAK
La stessa sostituzione dei corpi illuminanti è avvenuta per il sistema Sheliak.

FENICE - SISTEMA TABIT
Infine, la sostituzione delle lanterne si è estesa sul lungomare al sistema Tabit.

FENICE - ORIGINAL ARMS
Negli stretti vicoli dell’antico paese sono state montate lanterne Light 804 a LED sulle mensole originali.

SISTEMA AVIOR
Lungo la strada provinciale la rotonda d’ingresso a Sperlonga è stata arredata e illuminata con il sistema Avior.

ARREDO URBANO
Nelle piazze e nelle vie residenziali sono state installate panchine e portabiciclette della serie Salix, dissuasori della serie Laya e cestini della serie Melia.

CHIOSCHI
Infine sono stati utilizzati i chioschi della Neri. In tutti i casi si tratta di bar di medie e di grandi dimensioni, posizionati nei luoghi più significativi della città.

ENG - Sperlonga rise up on a rocky spur protruding into the Tyrrhenian Sea. Due to its location, during the Roman Empire, in the area many villas were built, the most famous is the one belonging to the Roman Emperor Tiberius. The villa included a grotto decorated with sculptures portraying episodes of the life of the Homer’s hero Odysseus.

Across more than 25 years there has been a succession of lighting and urban design projects for Sperlonga, adopting Neri products, such as lanterns, brackets, and various types of lampposts, as well as furnishing elements such as benches, bollards, bicycle racks, bins and kiosks.

ALCOR SYSTEM
A few years ago, Sperlonga has adopted the Alcor system to light residential areas and new developments, as well as the widespaces of Piazza Cardi.

FENICE PROJECT
A gradual upgrade has been carried out on older lampposts. The discharge lighting fixtures have been replaced with LED ones; significant savings have been made and the quality of the surroundings during night time improved.

FENICE - CASTORE SYSTEM
On the Castor system posts, the old ‘Light 800’ without optic have been substituted by ‘Light 803’ or ‘Light 804’ equipped with Fortimo LEDs.

FENICE - SHELIAK SYSTEM
The same lighting fixture replacement has occurred for the Sheliak system.

FENICE - TABIT SYSTEM
In the end, the replacement of lanterns has been extended to the waterfront, where the Tabit system is.

FENICE - ORGINAL ARMS
LED ‘Light 804’ lanterns were fitted on the original bracketsin the narrow lanes of the old quarter.

AVIOR SYSTEM
On the provincial road, the roundabout at the entrance to Sperlonga was furnished and lit using the Avior system.

URBAN DÉCOR
In the piazzas and streets of residential areas, Salix series benches and bicycle racks were installed, as well as Laya bollards and Melia bins.

KIOSKS
Neri kiosks have been also adopted as different sizes cafes and positioned in the most significant places in the town.
