Once again in Vita Student project (Newcastle) GammaStone Natural AIR panels are able to adapt to urban environments that are strongly characterized from the historical and landscape point of view.
Due to the location of the project, in the city center of Newcastle, the designer selected the Stancliff Yellow local stone for the coating of this residential and leisure building for college students.
Also the dimensions of the panels remained similar to the traditional ones, enhancing the dynamism of the facade by inserting a large number of panels of different sizes. Moreover, the quality of the finish was maximum and the creation of monolithic corners for all polygonal elements gave an astonishing aesthetic to the facade. A peculiar characteristic of this project has been the realization of some curved panels for a section of this building. The amazing result of such elements is due to the realization of each piece through the removal of material from the surface stone layer with a CNC machine. In order to give to those pieces the same finish level of the other panels, they have been handmade by our experienced workforce.
