  Speaking of shelving, the shelves in the shops and supermarket halls come to mind. In extreme cases, Soviet cabinets, with creaking, breaking glass shelves - we did not want to see such furniture in our studio. We wanted to use something more convenient, practical and expressive. Shelves X9 and X8 do not have uncomfortable glass shelves and strange doors - why? But they have 5 (X8) and 6 (X9) plywood shelves with a thickness of 18 mm, which can be changed among themselves, or replaced with others. X8 has legs, which allow using the rack as a partition for zoning space. In both models, tinted bolts were used, which focus on the prefabricated structure. Smooth bends of the carcass at first glance futuristic and pretentious, but in general they only complement the entire series and are an important constructive element - stiffening ribs. The thickness of the plywood frame parts is 40 mm, they are also primed, painted with durable varnish, as are the shelves.
  This construction originates from the design of biplanes, in other words - corncobs. In our case, as in the case of aerotechnics, it allowed to avoid large weights and added laconism to the appearance. In aircraft engineering there was a big minus of such a design - a large air resistance, fortunately our furniture does not have this disadvantage, due to the function of the object.
