M HOUSE

M house is a refurbishment and interior design of an old building located in the heart of islet, in the Clichy-Batigolles district, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

The building, which was occupied by workshops, has been divided and sold in empty, uninsulated lots, with just the roof, façades, water and electricity arrivals.

The work has been to design the interior spaces and the attic roofs volumes.

The house opens on a small garden, and has only one facade.
As it is located in a dense urban fabric and surrounded by high buildings, the sun almost never reaches the facade, and the luminosity inside is low. For this reason the spaces are made of white materials, so that the little light that enters is optimized.
