Together with the development of the Springs community, small community parks have been established serving as play-areas for children and a place of leisure in general. During the years the play grounds in the community-parks have been subject to aging and on points do
not comply any longer with the latest international safety standards for play-areas.

Since the community is maturing, there is a growing demand for a variety of attractions in the pocket parks to serve a wider range of age groups. Also the landscaped area within the community-parks deserves a modification and “refreshment” to become attractive and of use for the residents.

Aim was to re-create an attractive community-parks within and for the community, where children of different age groups and also adults can spend their leisure time, where are provision of sufficient shading, seating and lighting that will allow people to feel comfortable to stay in and enjoy the community park during day- and evening time.

Main objective is comply with the latest international safety standards with regards to playgrounds and equipment i.e. safety-zoning, flooring, materials, strangulation hazards, etc.
