EXPERIENTIAL BEER GARDEN | Angelantonia Soriano

The progect aims to restore and redevelop the old aging cellar of the historic Zarri distillary, respecting and enhancing the characteristic of the wonderful site. It is characterized by both the presence of the sixteenth century villa, that is a magnificent piece of architecture, and the amazing park with its cider treed and statues. The project aims to combine the historical experience of distillation with the most recent and popular trend of brewery, towards the creation of a harmonious complex, and excellent place and a favourite destination for all beer lovers. in the new Villa Zarri_Experiential Beer Garden, the visitors will be pleasantly surrounded by an experience made of tastes, fragrances and entertainement. Preserving the old building stucture, a new route around the old aging cellar will be created to offer a walk to the costumers through the story, prduction and the comsuption of beer. A the same time this route will be the place suitable for arte exibitions and installations. The rpoject supplies the old aging cellar with a basement in order to guarantee the precence of two floors. In the interior there will be place a restaurant, an open-plan kitchen, a tasting hall, a multi-purpose space, a shop and a laboratory dedicated to craft brewery. The park will be provided with some wooden beer accomodations to allow to drink beer outdoor, also by night, enjoying the surronding nature.
