Project for the redevelopment of Silos Hennebique of Genova and the port activity at the Ponte Parodi.

Symbol forgotten by the city, the Hennebique back to running. The project aims to complete the Waterfront harbor of Genoa. Metaphor of its former use, the building, once an industrial machine, now becomes a machine for man. Overall take place sports activities and entertainment for all, and the area adjacent to the project will be in continuity with each other and with the functions envisaged in the draft Von Bergen at the Ponte Parodi. The structural intervention wants to be respectful of the historical icon Silos, maintaining the massive appearance given by the perimeter walls, but returning a content to the large internal space to them. It 'will be a total reorganization of the interior space, where the new metal structure should be in contrast with the former French patent, and between the two types of construction a visual detachment is marked to keep the memory of the past and the development of the present. The roof has been designed as an arena in front of the sea, where you can do sports or relax with the view of the whole city and especially the Lantern.
