DREAM PLACE FOR FAMILIES WITH A DISEASED CHILD
Using a jubilee budget from the Ronald McDonald fund for Maasstad Hospital in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, I have been able to create the Dream Place, which is a space where diseased children with their families and friends can relax and play and forget about illness for a moment. The parents can also take a moment to relax here while staying close to their diseased child.
For this project, the desires and ambitions were far bigger than the available budget. The interior design as well as the project support during the implementation, I took on as a voluntary project. In addition, the final realization has been made possible thanks to the generous contributions from several parties.
