Interior design: Casabella Grattoni1892 | Arch. Gessica Borsatti

A small apartment in Tarvisio, located below the ski slopes in Camporosso area, and a customer who is looking for something different than usual for its interior decoration. These are the premises that led to the creation of something special, all made to measure and of course signed Grattoni1892.

The goal of the project was to recreate the mountain environment, but without trivializing already seen on the usual complements. Thus it was born the idea of ​​using our old boards, so many tables, which we recover with much patience in our secret places. These boards are boards 50 years ago, boards showing signs of labor and of life lived, and our job is to give them a new look, more sobering, revealing all the stories they have to tell. Tables are full of value, we guard almost jealously, and we decided to donate for this project.

Were used in total 180 tables, and considering that each has the size of around 180cm in length, well it's just a lot '. Each element inside of this house has been carefully designed and commissioned by the expert hands of our master craftsmen. Nothing to chance, nothing to the standard, only a lot of imagination and creativity. And that's when we made the magic, an entire wall of planks, which drops down to the ground to cradle the corner of the dining room, which becomes the focus of the entire house. It continues in the bedroom with special beds and special study solutions.

That's it, all very simple, but attention to detail. A small mountain cottage that contains a history even before being used. A house full of emotion, full of value and rich in detail. This is a Grattoni1892 house, which contains all the great values ​​that we try to convey with our projects: craftsmanship, uniqueness, recovery and family.
