20 x Sorensen Leather / Note Design Studio
20 x Sorensen Leather Crafted on 20 x Objects Stockholm / Sweden / 2017
Sorensen Leather partnered with Note Design Studio, who curated a new expression of natural colours crafted on a variety of unexpected designs for living. The result is 20 x Sorensen / 20 x Objects exhibited during Stockholm Design Week.
How can you experience leather without touching the surface to see and feel all the subtleties? And how can you experience a natural colour without having a sense of nature itself?
Looking beyond the typical colours and designs associated with leather, Note curated an array of products with the 20 x colours from new designers worth knowing. Ranging from floor screens, wall sound absorbers, table tops and trays to sofas, chairs, barstools, watches and much more. Along with a Colour Box featuring samples of each 20 x Sorensen Leather and the corresponding NCS colour codes to match - as a tactile tool to inspire designers, architects, artisans and anyone working with leather.
All with the intention of making the experience of leather more riveting and real. As a luscious, natural material with countless creative possibilities. Beyond 20 x.
Partners on the 20 x Objects: Fogia, Zilenzio, Nomad Watches, Karl Andersson & Söner, Edsbyn, Menu, Mitab, Massproductions, Reform, Skagerak and Astrid Textiles, as well as Note.
