Edificio Residenziale

The residential building is composed from 15 apartaments, it’s born on an industrial area and develops from the town towards the sea. Each apartament is designed to have beautiful view of the sea. In ground floor developes garage and apartaments on the upper floor.

The industrial character is reflected in the choise of materials and in details of the external envelop.

The project is based on two fondamental principles: the first regard to the relation with the existing warehouse in the context; the second the morphological complexity of the new building which has been intentionally studied to moltiply the observation point from the inside towards the landscape.

The class A energy rating has been achieved in particular through the study of the envelop and the air conditioning system.

The envelop is composed of two thermal insulation layers, one internal and the other external to the wall. This solution present thermal and acoustic insulation advantages too.

The heating and air conditioning system uses the radiant flooring technology. A high-efficiency gas boiler provides hot water at low temperature to the radiant panels; there i salso a probe to recover geothermal energy.
