askAdam is a technology company that focuses on mobile communications and gaming, with many years of experience in the field. The company has decided to move its store from a middle-class suburb of Athens, into the center of the city, in a luxurious gallery with up-scale stores. The goal was to develop a premium retail experience, engaging innovation through the use of technology. To meet the expectations of the customer we have developed a holistic approach, a minimal yet premium concept that arranges the display and storage into 4 horizontal sections. The storage area is located in the lower zone, made with white lacquered wood. Above, the devices are displayed in a ‘light’ box, a simple white canvas that highlights the original design of the technological products. Television screens are hidden behind black glass, transmitting messages for the customers in an innovative way. Finally, the wooden planks on top create a warm finish, working as a background for the graphic thought clouds. The result has a clean and ordered appearance, with fine details and materials that align with the company’s and location’s luxury features. The concept paves the way for future stores, playing a part in askAdam’s intention to make the brand accessible to prestige customers. Store results have exceed expectation in terms of cross-sell, product uptake and customer footfall.
