Office in Berezniki | Chief Design

Introductory Information

The “K-Service” company’s production facility is located in the industrial area of the town of Berezniki.The three-floored building with the total area of 300 m2,backing on to the production facility, has become the location for the company's new office.

The main aim of the project was the office building reconstruction in order to create a modern working space for the company’s employees.

Project Specifics

The “K-Service” company is a team of young, successful and ambitious people, therefore before getting down to projecting, “Chef-Design” company carried out a survey to point out the each employee’s individual needs. The important feature of the future project is to provide the favorable working environment for the employees’ interaction and for better client servicing.

Planning Concept

Office space consists of 3 floors.

 - The first floor is a common area for coffee-breaks and lunches, here there’s a fully functional kitchen. This way the company’s employees have a comfortable area for meals or for organizing meetings with clients and partners.

- The second floor is the main working place. There’s an open-space office with the accountant’s office, surrounded by glass partitions. The most remarkable element of this area is a big table made of metal, which has been designed especially for the project. The particular feature of this table is that it has been made in the company’s production department for the production purposes. It is planned so that the furniture style resonating with the individual spirit of the company will be the signature element of the project.

There’s also an archive and a cosy clullout area. The severe industrial interior style is animated by the soft arm-chairs and plants. The employees may leave their notesand office memos on the walls, which are covered by special paint.

- On the third floor there's a spacious conference hall and the company administration office.

Materials

Colour Solutions

The recently installed partitions are placed anglewise to the interior load bearing walls in order to create a modern and dynamic space. Such materials as concrete, bricks and glass were used to conform to the urbanistic style. The structure units of walls and partitions are preserved in its original conditions. Even and perfectly white partitions fit harmoniously with theinterior, highlighting the connection between the past generations’ experience andfast moving growth of technology.

The use of glass panels within doors helps the Company’s employees to keep up the eye contact. The employees can have some rest in privacy in the isolated areas located on each floor.

The main colours of the project are smart and elegant: white, black and some shades of grey. Bright eye-catching elements are created by decorative and furniture details.

Summary

Low-key industrial urbanistic interior style  is complemented by the dynamic planning concept with the use of the informal areas, which doesn’t reduce effectiveness and  functionality of the working processes.

This kind of interior, preserving the Company’s earnest and statusness, reflects the Company’s corporate culture , maintaining the energetic, modern and comfortable life-style of the employees.
