Building in the cohesive department of “traditional settlement”, basic concern constituted the identification with the traditional models, through a creative synthetic process, so much in level of morphology, and in level of manufacture and materials.

Approaching the three-storey mansion someone is, a first level, optically “confronted” with a stone garden -“xerolithia” – while in a second level pops up the main volume of residence with stones, “sahnisia” and its stone roof.

Particular emphasis was given in the small details of “human adventure” with the deep treatment of manufacture. The patina of the natural materials (olive, chestnut tree, oxidized iron) combined with the patina of time gives particular texture to the manufacture and lends figurative diachronicity to the residence.

Worth mentioning are the constructions of the small staircase, as for example the internal wooden staircase of the attic, the kitchen and the benches of bathrooms, stone carvings, the mosaic mermaid of the swimming-pool, but even the total configuration of outdoor space with the old marbles and the wooden decks. All the details led to the appointment of character of the construction and stressed the architectural composition.

The result of “conspiracy” of the human creative effort and the condensed “memory” is the creation of a building that keeps pace with the architectural tradition of Pelion, is included harmoniously in its natural space, while simultaneously it corresponds in the functional and technological requirements and in the modern aesthetics.
