El Malagueño, an ice cream parlour with a history that spans over fifty years, opened a new store in Zahara de los Atunes in 2016, with a revamped image to present its well-known artisanal ice creams.
The interiors of the new store were designed by Velvet Projects and the company Mesa 12, a specialist in gastronomic marketing and communication. Both were commissioned with giving the ice cream parlours a modern, refreshing feel with the emphasis on the experience synonymous with ice creams.
With it, El Malagueño’s new brand image has been presented, with a simple elegant design. What stands out particularly is the neutrality of the background setting, thanks to the monochrome flooring in URBATEK–PORCELANOSA ’s whitest of shades, from the TOWN collection, and the use of KRION® Solid Surface, a compact mineral material, for the counter and bars.
In contrast, the wall coverings, with their eye-catching images, evoke all the different sensations that these amazing ice creams spark off.
