Refurbishment: 4 stars hotel square Padova / Italy / 2014

The design goal is to redrow a private hotel square with a public use. We decide to use vegetation as filters to protect the inner square, closer to the hotel entrance.
Green vegetable stripes, running parallel to the main street, alternates with red coloured concrete paths and with simple concrete bences. Bus and car paths have been reduced to one low scrolling lane, to guarantee at the same time a direct car access to the guest and pedestrian safety.
Light has been used as a proper design material: narrow lines cross the entire area alternating with the other stripes and integrating with the concrete bences.
