Sky Office is the office building with about 72.000m2 and a total height of 81m, positiones at the western entrance to Zagreb. Building links the design, functionality and energy efficiency, and sets new standards for commercial buildings: the organization of office space, a roof garden, full-height glass front, communication links, security systems, the latest heating and cooling systems and advanced systems designed for energy saving classify this building to the top Zagreb's architectural achievements.

Design of complete buildings, as well as its integration into the architectural - urban space environment is the work of renowned architectural office Anin-Jeromin-Fitilidis & Partner from Düsseldorf (Germany) with branch office ajf project d.o.o in Zagreb.

The building is consisted of two towers with 22 floors, which each function as individual buildings, connected from the level of a ground floor to 15 floor, and four levels of underground garage.

The building communicate with enviroment at all levels - receive, transmite and emits light, its volume turned visualy to passersby, with access roads its opening to environment, a traditional wired and wireless systems associated with global communication network. An advanced system of heating, cooling and ventilation, lighting and ergonomic design ensures a healthy and pleasant working environment.

Lighting design was extremely demanding, because of the specific architecture, doubled symmetrically overlaying ellipses, lighting should follow the axis of the building, to meet the required levels of illumination, uniformity, but also the visual experience of the building from all directions from where the object viewed from the outside. An additional aggravating factor was the fact that the spaces themselves were not defined, so designing the lighting instalation should take into account the maximum flexibility, ie. to schedule lighting does not affect the later definition of office, when the tenant space decide on any changes.

The main office luminaire was the direct / indirect luminaire GOXT 2x54W, manufacturer Tobias Grau. Its design, photometric characteristics and efficiency, fully have respected all the tasks that were set in the terms of reference. The luminaire was at the time of the lighting designt technologically and aesthetically top of product design. The optimum glare protection - Y60 ° in 1000cd with η = 82% was its best reference, thanks to control luminance optics oversize lamps. The luminaire was winner of the iF product design award 2007. awarded with an iF gold award, known as the "Design Oscar".

Economy in the construction and use of modern systems intended for energy saving ensure the long-term cost efficiency and accessibility of facilities. Lighting, heating and ventilation, and window blind management system (shuttercontrol) are controlled with building management system (BMS), in order to achieve maximum savings.
