Pinheiros Apartment | Studio dLux

The project had the intention of transforming a dark and full of divisors old apartment into a more integrated and illuminated environment for its residents, as well as updating all the premises installations and materials. The adaptation had two clear goals, prepare a room for a future child of the couple, and turn the third bedroom into a multipurpose space. Entering the renovated apartment we have a great atmosphere of entrance that unites living, balcony, kitchen and dining in a large and bright place. In the background we have a partition made of wood that separates all this space from the service area. The multipurpose room comes on the scene with the aim of being open for use as a TV room and closed to receive guests, all this being possible through the solution of installing a metal roll door. The apartment has an industrial style, according to the taste of its residents. Apparent electrical installations and ceiling and floor using the burnt cement give a rustic and modern air, combining with the black carpentry, made by the own office, of the cabinets and the partition of purple ipe gaining prominence. The bathrooms follow the same style, using concrete benches with the joinery made in naval plywood, also made by the studio's own carpentry.
