The project raises the height of an existing building in the city centre, between two constructions of very different sizes. The objective was to create a more harmonious transition between sizes through a series of continuous facets, which unfold in three dimensions like a cut stone. The solid parts are composed of plated boards whose finishings reflect the light depending on the orientation of the facet. Different colours have been used for the main unfolding outside and the tilted facets inside in order to emphasize the showcase-like nature of this apartment. The living spaces have been placed on the sixth floor in order to benefit from the best light and the best views, while the 3 bedrooms are located below, so as to be more private and better protected. The existing floors were converted into 2-bedroom apartments.
