Signed by Nini Andrade Silva, the Azor Hotel is a modern and cosmopolitan hotel with an interior design concept strongly connected to the island, which was defined with the main propose of sharing experiences and feelings to the visitors.

 As top venue for people looking for healthy experiences, this hotel was conceived around the concept of outdoor life and nature experiences within the city.

 We intended that the concept drew inspiration from a sense of timelessness and paying homage to some of the most spectacular sports and outdoor activities possible to practice in the island, such as hiking, mountain climbing, diving, fishing, swimming, water sports, rally, bike, etc.

 Looking for spectacular details, able to give the space creativity and uniqueness, we associate to the interior design project unexpected elements, aiming to create a metaphor related to the good energy that everyone can feel in the Azores Island. That's why is possible to find giant power cables wheels that intend to symbolize this positive energy!

 Pursuing a twist between a cool and vintage atmosphere, in the entrance of the Hotel, we can find a library made by a books selection from the 70's symbolizing a time when a limited information arrived to the island and it was precisely through the books, that the locals took contact with different realities and fantasies coming from other sides of the world.

 Finding a narrative around these ideas, as well as the key words as good energy, sea, nature and adventure, we developed a concept in a mix of emotion, personality and cool.

The atmosphere created exudes comfort and aesthetics and as an unique hotel, the small details will grant authenticity to the spaces.
