Qatar Research & Development Complex (QRDC) is the product of the nation’s recognized need to transition to a sustainable, knowledge-based society from one dependent on depletable resources. QRDC, an ambitious undertaking that will push the limits of science and advance innovation, is a center of global learning. As a research oriented arm of Education City, the complex is also aligned with the neighboring Qatar Science + Technology Park (QSTP), the future home of some of the world’s leading scientific and technological businesses. QRDC will serve as a bridge of scientific innovation between the education oriented facilities of Education City and the commercialization capabilities of
QSTP. The vision for QRDC fosters innovation and collaboration by facilitating cross pollination of people and ideas. The design of QRDC respects and enhances the natural and cultural heritage of Qatar while providing a dynamic and truly unique research experience.
