Waterfront in Torregrande | nuvolaB architetti associati

The project involves to redesign the waterfront with three distinct areas. Despite their functional and morphological differences the aim is to give a continuous project with full accessibility of the
open spaces. The operation corresponds to a stitched design of these three existing environments through the creation of a pedestrian system linking the multifunctional urban space (promenade, pier, concessions, bars, etc.) in close relation with crossing access towards the sea routes. Along these ways other services will host shady equipped areas, parkings, beach services and pavilions. Integrated to the pedestrian accommodation, the project involves the upgrading of the three mai environmental sets, the pine forest, the dune system and the lake system.
