Expansion of kindergarten in the City of Palau - Sardinia | Antonio Lucio Paolo Muzzetto

The project has provided the main purpose of enabling the widening of the table in kindergarten and to complete certain actions already implemented in the first speech of completion and retrofitting of the building.
The project involves a plani-volumetric expansion of the hall to the cafeteria of the kindergarten, this expansion involves the construction of a place to volume share 21,00 on stilts that supports and accompanies with a bus shelter the steps d ' main entrance.
The construction of the new comprehensive volume in the intervention project carried out recently which entails the construction of two classrooms on the east side of the building and arrangement of an entrance canopy to the portion 21,00 volumetrically and chromatically very characterized. In fact, the theme addressed in the design was to provide a facade and a new character and consistent building in continuity with the intervention carried out, that is brought to fruition with this project.

CURRENT STATUS OF SCHOOL PLEXUS
The school building on which it is expected the expansion is located in an outlying urban areas than in the central part of the town, inside a school complex for the compulsory education, to which it belongs. The building dates back to the 70s of last century, has a very simple system consisting of two buildings, with a pitched roof with roof tiles, willing to court. The building has recently been affected by a widening intervention with the construction of two classrooms on the northeast side back from the entrance on Via La Galatea. The recent intervention has also implemented the external arrangement of a main entrance canopy along the redefinition of spaces and access to the outdoor courtyard accommodation

The new forecast volume completely covered by a ventilated façade finished in porcelain similar to amber granite coast of the archipelago of La Maddalena, with a chisel fine finish, has a south facade completely blind at the base of which is articulated on the platform that accompanies the entrance and increases the shade under the expected pilotis that support the new volume. The windows are placed in the header of the volume on the east and on the west side of the same as well as in coverage. The cover is opposed to the brim of semipadiglione which currently covers the volume of the cafeteria and finds compluvium the portion immediately below the existing gutter.
The objective perceptual change is to achieving consistency and recognition to an important public building that only with the last trip has gone down this road of transformation of a building with its own character of a current building, to architectural recognizability own building 'public'.
