Apartment in Moscow | FORM

This apartment is located within a new residential block in the centre of Moscow. Three existing apartments were retailored into one to facilitate the needs of a large family. The main task was to create a calming and warm environment, which would reflect the individuality of its inhabitants.
An antithesis of the open plan, the layout maximizes the functionality of the existing space, while separating common rooms and private quarters into two distinct areas connected by a hallway. Custom designed furniture and fittings distinguish each space, with every detail considered as part of a narrative of the object and its environment. 

In the choice of materials and furnishings we aimed to create a calming environment with an understated opulence. The palette is predominated by warm textures of oak & walnut paired with shades of aquamarine.
