Engineers tackle challenges every day, so when Engineers Australia needed an upgrade on their office lighting we knew we had high expectations to live up to. After all, an office reflects the business so our work had to be just as good as theirs.

Naturally, we were more than certainly up to the task.

The space is strikingly angular, with desk layouts, furniture and kitchen areas displaying prominent 90 degree edges. This right-angle uniformity is also reflected in the ceiling, with a checked pattern spanning the entire space. The final touch is the red and white colour scheme spread across the furnishings.

The LED Advance in a surface mounted fitting proved to be the perfect solution as its sleek, straight angles maintained the modern aesthetic of the space. We were able to line the fittings up with the checks in the ceiling, blending in nicely.

Due to the customisation afforded by the Advance, we were also able to make some mitre cuts and throw in some 90 degree angles of our own. This allowed the Advance’s powerful LEDs to illuminate even the darkest corners of the space.

And one last thing: keeping in line with the furnishings, we applied red and white powder coats to the fittings. This final touch made the Advance seem right at home and the perfect complement to the space.
