Ottica Ghigo è l'esempio classico della trasformazione inaspetta; una trasformazione figlia della morfologia stessa del locale dominato da volte e arco a sesto ribassato. La prima sfida, quindi, era quella di rispettare i volumi esaltandone l'essenza. 

Optical Ghigo is the classic example of unexpected transformation; a daughter of the local transformation of the same morphology dominated by vaults and depressed arch. The first challenge, then, was to respect the volumes, enhancing the essence.

La seconda sfida era dettata dalla necessità di creare un'area dedicata a refrazione e contattologia senza intersecare i volumi stessi. Da qui l'idea di creare un nuovo volume in loco della solita partizione.
 
The second challenge was dictated by the need to create an area dedicated to refraction and contact lenses without intersecting the volumes themselves. Hence the idea to create a new volume instead of the usual partition.

 La terza sfida era dettata dalla necessità di ricavare un'area laboratorio da un locale attiguo posizionato su un livello inferiore senza farlo percepire. A tale scopo è stata praticata, nella parete, un'apertura nascosta ad arte dagli espositori. 

The third challenge was dictated by the need to obtain an area laboratory from an adjacent premise positioned on a lower level without it perceived. To this purpose an opening, in the wall, has been created hidden artfully by displays.

La quarta sfida era la necessità di illuminare il locale senza utilizzare i soliti scontati sistemi a sospensione. Abbiamo quindi utlizzato una raggiera di lame di luce dalla struttura appena percepibile. Tuttavia, tutto questo non sarebbe stato possibile senza Devas e Ghigo veri motori e vera anima.
 
The fourth challenge was the need to illuminate the room without using the usual trivial suspension systems. We then utilized a sunburst of rays of light from the structure barely perceptible. However, this would not have been possible without Devas and Ghigo real engines and real soul.
